Biblical Gatherers – The Leper
In Mark 1:40-45, Jesus heals a leper. Then Jesus tells the leper not to tell anyone about this, but…
“But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news around, to such an extent that Jesus could no longer publicly enter a city, but stayed out in unpopulated areas; and they were coming to Him from everywhere.” (Mark 1:45 NASB)
Since so many people came to meet Him, Jesus was not able to enter a city publicly.
One man accomplished this – ONE. The power of a focused gatherer who is engaged with Jesus Christ in a transforming way is overwhelming.
It takes just one effective gatherer to get a lot done.
