Changing How We Think About Church Growth
Sid Porter says, “If you want 1,000 pounds of meat, raise elephants. If you want 1,000 tons of meat, raise rabbits.” If you put two elephants in a room and two rabbits in a room, in three years you will have three elephants and 476 million rabbits.”
To shift our thinking and choices regarding evangelism and church planting/growth, we must move from elephant behaviors to rabbit behaviors. This kind of realignment takes time. An elephant church CAN shift to rabbit behaviors if adequate vision and determination exist. The choices necessary to move this direction are best accomplished in the GSE network through GSE Cohorts.
If you would like to implement rabbit behaviors into your evangelism, planting and growth strategies, let’s talk.
