THE VISION BEGINS
After much study, Dr. Tony Webb recognized two main problems with church planting.
- Adding churches one by one is not as effective as multiplying churches.
- Financial cost is great and often a barrier.
God gave Tony the wisdom and discernment to answer these challenges; as a result, the first Gatherers, Shepherds and Elders (GSE) church was born in 2007. Now Tony travels nationally and internationally to train and inspire believers to start church multiplication movements with the vision — any person, any place, any time. The GSE church planting process is cost effective, but it requires an investment of time and energy in order to pray and engage people with the love and Gospel of Jesus.

Our culture is transforming itself at a dizzying pace, and the lost are lonely, confused and discouraged. But we are not. We have the gospel which brings salvation, clarity, and hope.
We never change the message to accommodate the culture, but we believe it’s time to reconsider the PROCESS we use to engage people with the truth of God’s Word and draw them into Jesus’ harvest.
What we believe about the harvest drives how we engage in the harvest.
If I believe the harvest is large, I will invest large resources into it; if I believe the harvest is small, I will invest little.
I can’t allow what I see or believe about my existing church or situation to determine what I do about the harvest. Scripture teaches that the harvest is white and ready. what work am I doing proactively in the harvest?
Movement happens through the church family.
Let’s reevaluate our definition of church, then release the church to start churches – it is time.
Acts 16:5 tells us, “So the churches were being strengthened in the faith, and were increasing in number daily (NASB).
Following this example from the earliest church, our vision is to start or reinvigorate a church a day in every region in which we work.
Come along with us on the journey and be a key part. Many are perishing, heading into a Christless eternity!
